Book Club August

August book club will be held on Friday August 13th at 7:30 pm. We forgot to talk about where, so if you would be willing to host, please email Jen or Angela as soon as possible. Thanks.

August will be Open forum. Bring books you like and dislike and we'll share.

The third of the Hunger Games trilogy will be coming out on Aug 24th. We talked about reading the trilogy and discussing it in October. Everyone still good with this?

If we do it we would have to share books since it's really hard to get at the library. Does anyone have either of the first two that we could pass around? If you do please let us know with a comment or an email. Thanks.

Book Club Activity

Because of the inclement weather today, we will not be going to Memory Grove. We will still meet at Angela's and we will get some dinner and play games there. If there is enough interest, we may go to the tabernacle for the acapella group performance. Otherwise we will hang out and have a grand time at Angela's. See you there at 6:30 pm!

Memory Grove THIS Friday, June 11

Time: 6:15-6:30 PM (We will be leaving Angela's house at 6:30.)
Place: Memory Grove, Brigham Young Park(optional), Angela's House for games (optional)
What: We're planning on stopping at a Subway to pick up sandwiches and then we'll go to Memory Grove to eat them and walk around. If there is interest and time, there is a free concert at the Brigham Young Park from 8-9 PM. It is an a capella group called, The Cadillacs. They sing classic, fun rock-and-roll music from the 50's and 60's. And THEN, those who are interested are welcome to come back to Angela's house for games (it's the Father and Son camp out, so Emma & I will have the house to ourselves--no curfew! :) not that there ever is at my house!).

We all had a great time at Mindy's new home. Thanks Mindy for hosting and thanks to everyone who came. We enjoyed some great discussions. We also had a lot of books to discuss too. There were many to choose from but the one we chose for July is:
