Book Club for February

February 11th at 7:30 pm will be our next book club meeting. We will be having an activity that night and have discussed going to a movie.

A couple of movies were discussed as a possibility, The Blind Side and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, though I just looked and the second one won't be in theaters until Feb 12th so that one won't work. We will decide when the date gets closer. If there is any other movies you would like to see, please leave a comment on the blog or email Jen or Angela and let us know.

The book chosen to read for March is Empire by Orson Scott Card.

January Book Club

I kinda dropped the ball over the holidays and forgot to write down our plans for this year, sorry. So I made a few calls and have decided to have book club this coming Thursday, January 14th at 7:30 pm at Angela's house.

Also most people have not read the book we were going to read for this month, so it was suggested that we have an open forum instead. I hope everyone is okay with this. Sorry to those who might have read it. Please come with a book you liked and one you didn't like or any variation thereof. Hope to see you all there!
