July Book Club

July 9th is the date of our book club this month. 7:30 as usual and we will be meeting at Sheri's house. This will be an open forum so bring the best and worst to share. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Jen can't come

I just realized on Sunday that I have a conflict with June 12th for the book club. I've volunteered to help at the temple open house that day/evening and won't be able to make it to book club that night. It sucks that I'll miss it, but I hate to have to change it again since we've already changed it 3 times. Just wanted to let you all know that I'll miss you and see you next month. Angela will have to take notes and update me so I can blog for next month.

June Book Club

We had a fun time this month as we went out to dinner at Iggy's restaurant and chatted with each other. It was also fun to catch a movie after for those of us that could stay. I was really glad to be able to see all of you again and catch up since I've moved and also with all the changes to the ward boundaries and everything. Thanks everyone for sharing and caring.

In June we will be discussing "Saints" by Orson Scott Card.
This should be and interesting discussion.

Anybody for a Chick Flick after Dinner?

I was talking to Annette today and we found that She's Just Not That Into You (remember talking about her book submission last month?--this is the movie from the book she listened to) is playing at the cheap ($1.50) theater in Sandy (not TOO far from where we're having dinner). So. . .we'd like to leave my house in two cars (one for those who'd like to go to the movie after and one for those who can't join us). Annette volunteered to drive the movie-goers. We'll probably be leaving my house close to 6:20. If there's a volunteer for those who can't join us, please let us know or come prepared to drive. Thanks!!
